Module · history publishing prompts
The book is the middle. This handles everything before and after it.
A narrative-history book lives or dies on work that is not the writing: picking a subject readers search for, finding the first-hand sources, planning the series, surviving a hostile second read, the listing, the pictures, and the pages that pull a finisher into the next book. The History Publisher Studio wraps that whole path: one saved book profile and eight modes that assemble the prompt for each job.
What is the History Publisher Studio? A prompt engine inside ContentCraft AI. Save your book profile once, and it assembles copy-paste production prompts: subject scoring, a source hand-in pack, a series plan, a blind review, listing copy, a rights-checked picture plan, content built only from your research, and reader-loop pages: that you run in your own ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or Perplexity.
What's inside
- Book Profile: subject, period, place, key people, angle, reader tribe, series, pen name: saved once and injected into every prompt; any field left blank tells the AI to propose and say so
- Subject Scout: a web-search prompt that scores each candidate on demand, the gap on the shelf, the sources, and series potential, out of 100
- Source Finder: a hand-in pack of free first-hand sources with direct links, bias notes, the points where accounts disagree, and the other side's sources
- Series Architect: the split into stand-alone books, 5 series-name options, titles and search-built subtitles, 7 keyword phrases per book, categories, and a release plan
- Blind Review: run in a different AI from your writing AI: fact and quotation audit, anachronism hunt, reader-tell check, and a one-star review simulator, ending in a 10-fix priority list
- Listing Builder: two description versions, keyword phrases and categories, an honest pen-name bio with no invented credentials, and a series page description
- Pictures & Maps Scout: public-domain finds with the rights statement quoted word for word from each archive page, a credit line, a caption, and a print-size check
- Content Engine: posts, short-video scripts, community answers, an essay, group posts, or a launch pack, built only from the chapter or facts you paste, never from the AI's memory
- Reader Loop Pages: the story-continues teaser, the review request, the also-in-this-series page, and the free-gift page, each sized to one printed page
FAQ
What is the History Publisher Studio?
A prompt engine for independent narrative-history authors, not a generator. You save one book profile, and the Studio assembles production prompts you run in your own ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or Perplexity. Nothing is researched or written on ContentCraft's servers.
What are the eight modes?
Subject Scout checks demand, the current shelf, the gap, and the sources before you commit to a subject. Source Finder returns a hand-in pack of free first-hand sources with direct links. Series Architect splits a subject into stand-alone books with titles, subtitles, and keywords. Blind Review runs a fact audit, an anachronism hunt, a reader-tell check, and a one-star review simulation in a different AI from the one that wrote the book. Listing Builder writes the Amazon description and the pen-name bio. Pictures & Maps Scout finds public-domain images with the rights statement quoted from each archive page. Content Engine turns your own research into posts, scripts, and answers. Reader Loop Pages writes the back pages that send a finisher to the next book.
Do I have to fill in the whole book profile?
No. Every profile field is optional. A blank field tells the AI, inside the prompt itself, to propose something sensible that fits the subject and the reader tribe, and to say what it assumed. The more you save, the more specific every prompt gets.
Is the History Publisher Studio free?
Yes: like every ContentCraft module, the History Publisher Studio is included on every plan, with free daily copies to start. Create a free account, save your book profile, and run your first subject check in the AI chat you already use.
