Privacy policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026. Ingenious AI ("we", "us") operates ContentCraft AI. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and password hash when you sign up. We use it to run your account and nothing else.
- Your content: keywords, hooks, scripts, prompts, projects and anything else you create in the workshop. This is private to your account.
- Usage data: which features you use and basic technical data (device type, browser, approximate location from IP) to improve the product and keep it secure.
- Attribution data: when you sign up, we record the referrer, UTM parameters and landing page from your first visit, so we know which marketing works.
- Contact messages: what you send us through the contact form, so we can reply.
What we never do
We never sell your personal data. We never share it with advertisers or data brokers. We never train AI models on your content. Your projects are yours.
Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and a consent cookie (cookie_consent) that remembers the cookie choices you make in our banner — both are required for the site to work. With your permission, chosen in the cookie banner on your first visit, we also use analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful, and marketing cookies for advertising and measuring ad performance. If you decline, no analytics or marketing cookies run at all. You can change your choices at any time with the cookie button at the bottom-left of any page, or by clearing cookies in your browser (blocking the session cookie will sign you out).
Advertising
We may display ads served by Google AdSense to support the free tier. As of the date above, no advertising is served on this site. If that changes, Google — as a third-party vendor — may use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings page, and you can block advertising cookies entirely in your browser settings without breaking the core service (sign-in aside, which needs the session cookie).
How we use your data
To operate the service (accounts, generation, projects), to prevent abuse and fraud, to understand which features matter, and to communicate with you about your account. We process data on the basis of providing the service you signed up for and our legitimate interest in running it securely.
Third parties
- Hosting & infrastructure: our servers and databases (Render, Neon) process data solely to run the service.
- Email delivery: transactional email providers send signup verification and account notices.
- Payment processing: when you buy a plan or credits, the payment processor handles your payment details — we never see your card number.
- Google AdSense (if/when ads run): see Advertising above.
We don't share data with anyone else, and subprocessors only get what they need to do their job.
Data retention
Your account data and content are kept while your account is active. Delete your account and we delete your content within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep records (e.g. invoices). Backups roll off within 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us — we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
Passwords are hashed, sessions use Secure/HttpOnly/SameSite cookies, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you promptly.
Children
ContentCraft AI is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll note the new date above and, for significant changes, email account holders. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
